Darrell Shaw

I worked in the printing industry for over 25 years. I am journeyman printer. I retired from printing and then opened my own business Shaw Distributing. I handled Snyders pretzel products, Kettle Chip pruducts, Lender Bagels, and Mission Foods products. I recently sold my business and I am now retired.

The funniest thing I did at NHS was in my junior year after I enrolled I went back the next day and enrolled as Bill Blaine. This drove Mr. young and Mr. Addison nuts. Lol. Because Bill Blaine skipped a lot of classes. He answered “here” in a lot of large group classes and even passed in papers in some classes. He checked out library books and never returned them. After awhile in the morning announcements they would say “Bill Blaine report to the attendance office immediately”. This went on all year long. Of course he never did. I went by Bill’s locker one day and Young and Addison were there with a very unhappy look on their faces as they were emptying out a locker full with library books. Only a few people knew who Bill was and helped out in answering and passing in papers so they never could get a lock on who he was. I believe that was my greatest achievement of my high school years.
